WELCOME TO ST. CLOUD MAIN STREET
WHAT WE DO

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The St. Cloud Main Street Program, which began in September 1999, is a comprehensive revitalization program designed to encourage ongoing economic development in conjunction with historic preservation. We do this by promoting our Historic Downtown along with the businesses in various media platforms. We also offer grants to our members for building improvements and restoration.

HISTORIC PRESERVATION
The passion behind the St. Cloud Main Street program is educating the community and preserving St. Cloud's history. We submit historic buildings yearly to be placed on the State Historic Marker program and on the National Registry of Historic Places.

COMMUNITY EVENTS
St. Cloud Main Street hosts multiple events throughout the year. Some of our more notable events are Soldier City's Veterans Salute Dinner, Redneck Gala, Smokin' Brews, Boats and BBQ, and our HIpstoric themed events in March, May, September and December.

The Amaryllis Minerva
The Official Flower of Saint Cloud
In 2005, the Saint Cloud Main Street Program had the city adopt the Amaryllis Minerva (the red amaryllis) as the official city flower. Since that time, many community events are purposefully themed to the flower. Some notable events are Hipstoric - A Bloomin' Good Time in March, along with a baby pageant and coloring contests, Hipstoric - An Amaryllis Christmas in December alongside the city's Christmas happenings.
